Host a private event with Blueprint Creative. Watercolor workshops can be designed for either beginners and intermediate painters. Jacqueline will guide guests will gain comfortability blending color and water using various brush techniques.
About Level 1 (Beginner) Painting Workshops
One of the biggest barriers in watercolor painting is learning how to work confidently with water. In this Level 1 session, Jacqueline will explain how to truly harness your materials, helping you feel comfortable blending pigments and water while learning essential brush techniques to achieve different effects.
After the guided warm-up, you’ll apply what you’ve learned to create your own watercolor painting. Jacqueline will provide a folded greeting card featuring an image/sketch predetermined by the workshop host. Using non-water-soluble ink pens and fine art watercolor pigments, you’ll be free to paint to your heart’s content.
About Level 2 (Intermediate) Painting Exercises
The Level 2 (Intermediate) workshop is designed for those who want to build on the foundational skills. In this session, we’ll move beyond basic water control and explore layering, intentional color mixing, and brushwork that adds depth, movement, and personality to your painting.
You’ll learn how to work more deliberately with wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques and refine edges. With guidance, you’ll apply these techniques to create a more detailed watercolor painting, with a subject matter of your choice Using non-water-soluble ink pens and fine art watercolor pigments, you’ll be encouraged to experiment and develop your own style.

Guests will immerse themselves in a relaxing afternoon of creativity, flavor, and color through tea blending and watercolor painting.
The experience begins at Brittany’s interactive tea blending bar, where each person will craft a personalized cup of tea from 30+ ingredients. Attendees will sip on their own creation as our watercolor host, Jacqueline, guides them through a warm-up exercise in which they’ll learn how to blend color and water using various brush techniques. Then, with guidance, they’ll combine their new knowledge to paint their own watercolor. Throughout the event, they are welcome to return to the tea bar to explore new blends and get inspiration from the tea leaves.
No prior tea or painting experience needed. Just curiosity and a love of sipping and making!
Hosted in partnership with Lagom Infusions.
